Third Annual E.Y.E Project Eco-Summit

I went to the Eco-Summit on the 7 th of June at Thomas A Becket Middle School. I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot more about how to look after the environment than I used to. I especially enjoyed the activity called hedge sweeping and pond dipping where I could learn about all the different insects; this also made me aware of all the different amazing creatures. It showed that we must look after habitats of these creatures for them to survive in. I also enjoyed watching the kite flyer fly his kite as he did some very cool tricks. I think the top was designed very well and it looked very nice. Also, the healthy food activity was good because we could try different things and it taught us about healthy eating whilst looking after the environment. This activity also showed us about sustainable food.

The whole day was a fun and informative day which I would recommend to other children who are interested in saving our precious planet. Finally I feel that the Eco–Summit went very well and our school was the perfect host.
